Mureall Hébert is a children’s & young adult writer. She lives with her husband and three children in the Pacific Northwest.

Mureall’s fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Bartleby Snopes, >kill author, Short, Fast, and Deadly, The Citron Review, Soundings Review.She was awarded Honorable Mention in Bacopa Literary Review’s 2012 short fiction contest.  Her young adult novella was published in the anthology StereoOpticon (Drollerie Press: 2008.) She is the Children & Young Adult editor for the literary magazine Soundings Review.

Mureall is nearing completion of her MFA in creative writing from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, with a focus in Children & Young Adult literature. She is currently working on a young adult novel.
